      Really? I think I just put that up there, as to just have a photo to put up, as 2008 and 2009 were, as you saw, very lean years photographically. But, yeah, I do kinda sorta do like that one, and how the current fella kinda sorta reflects an image of one of his ancestors, only difference being their means of transportationReplyCancel

        Yeah, exactly, that alone gives it a nice dimension.  But then add the placement of the rider between the foreground and background thingies (I believe that to be the technical term), alomg with the bike wheel, making a nice diagonal of circles echoing along the bottom, carrying the eye to the background, and the up the wall to the horse illustration.  My eye travels nicely from element to element.  Also, the horizontals behind the bicyclist reinforce the impression of the horizontal motion of the cyclist.  The more I look at it, actually, the more I really appreciate all that is working for me in this photo. I’m surprised that you’re surprised, this is a very good photo, imho,   ‘The fuck’s wrong with you?
